A tale of two halves literally. We controlled the pace of the game in the first 10-15 minutes and were pressing but could not get a goal to fall. Lake Mills struck first and came out swinging even harder in the 2nd half. We lost the battle of the midfield and with Lake Mills incredible speed, we had no answer. Credit to Sean Healy for getting us on the board. We head into the long weekend with Jefferson on our mind Tuesday. |

We played a much better game with more heart and fire. Guys were pressing, finding feat, and the D was playing more solid. We had a few miscues and Jefferson capitalized in this back and forth match. Credit Josh Lindert for getting us on the board early and for Kyle Main’s tenacity to put the ball in the net. |

We came out flat and LPS did what they do best. They aggressively attacked, communicated, found feet and capitalized on our first touch mistakes. Kudos to them and coach Marty our prayers are with them as they continue their impressive team run to win conference.
William Bushie played more aggressive in the box as did our D Fence to stop their pressing attack. Credit to freshmen Kyle Main for getting us on the board with a sweet goal that went into the upper corner out of their keepers reach. We look to bounce back Thursday with a remake game versus the Dells. |

Today we played some good team ball and were unselfish in our play with guys looking for teammates to score. Credit to Wisconsin Dells players for their speed in testing our D
We were happy to see our 3 freshmen get balls to hit the back of the net. William Bushie played a more aggressive game and the score showed it. We play Martin Luther Greendale on Saturday. |

In the pregame the guys were asked if they needed two goals scored on them before waking, the answer was apparently yes. Once we locked down the midfield and shut down Meaux, we were able to gain our composure and find the back of the net. The guys again were unselfish in their finding the feat of the team mates, I am proud of the way the guys battled back for the win. We play Lodi on Tuesday. |

We came out with a fire that we have not seen before, and the beginning of the game showed it. However a mental lapse and Lodi’s speed they knotted the game back up, it was a slug fest in the 2nd half, but credit freshmen Nathan Krenke along with Kyle Main again for getting a head on Josh’s corner. William Bushie made some spectacular saves along with our bend but don’t break D-fense. We head to Heights again on Thursday. |

When you play the defending conference champions you have to rise to their level of hustle, aggression and communication. We did not and it cost us. Credit Jackson for getting us on the board late in the game. We bounce back on Tuesday for a 4pm varsity game versus Columbus. |

A quick goal by CDU woke us up and we matched their aggressive attack with one of our own. The guys had a bend but don’t break mentality and our hustle did not let up. I am proud of the team and how we kept up the pressure all game. |

When playing the 8-0 conference champs one needs to play a near perfect game. After allowing a goal in the first 5 we stepped our intensity and kept them out of the back of the net for the rest of the half. The same could be said of the 2nd half and the unfortunate hands in the box sending it to 3. We only had 3 good looks at the goal but each was right to the keepers hands. While sad about the loss we did exceed expectations both on the game as many were predicting a 9-1 score. And finally exceeding where we finished in our conference with a record of 5-4. Congratulations to Sugar river. We head to Shoreland Lutheran on Thursday for a rematch of last years first round of playoffs. |

Shoreland was the better team tonight and their possession of the ball proved it. Our mental lapses in a short period of time again set us backwards at the start of both halves. Positively speaking it was great to see the future of the program get us into the back of the net to prevent the shut out. Senior William Bushie played one of his better games despite the score. Many thanks to our seniors for brining the program back into the right direction. We finished 7-9 overall but 5-4 in conference tied for 4th. While some may view this as mediocre we see it as progress. Thanks to the parents coaches managers and players for a fun season. God willing we will be back in 2019.
